As one of the early Internet sales and marketing executives, I've seen it all. I've spent the past 15 years developing products and services for a wide variety of online businesses and marketers trying to attract other online businesses and consumers. From ecommerce services to consumer media offerings, from lead generation and demand creation programs to on-demand software and direct marketing solutions, I've conceived, developed, and implemented successful business strategies and product launches, built successful teams, and grown loyal customer and membership bases. Prior to that, I spent over 11 years in traditional media in senior management roles in publishing and cable, then on the agency side where I specialized in integrated marketing and sales promotion. With all of that, you'd think I'd have found the Holy Grail by now - an easy way to use advertising to connect buyers and sellers online, and live that one-to-one dream we've all been promised.
I'm not sure we've found the Crystal Skull yet, but I do think Leadtail has built a better mousetrap when it comes to finding your audience online and using advertising to reach your best prospects. It has taken 15 years but somebody may have finally gotten it right, and I'm glad to be a part of that.
